A and AS Levels
These are level 3 qualifications which are ideal for entry into Higher Education. AS Level is a year long course and the first half of an A Level. If you want to continue with the subject, you can continue to achieve an A Level, which is the second half of the course in the second year. We will expect you to choose 4 subjects in the first year if you are following a 2 year programme. You can also combine AS and A Levels with Applied VCE subjects. You would need at least six A*-C graded GCSEs, but it is preferable if you have more. For many AS subjects, you would be expected to have obtained A*-C grades in specific GCSE subjects.
