BTEC Introductory Diploma in Land Based Industries Having successfully completed the course and receiving a positive report from your tutor it is possible to progress to specialise in one field by studying a BTEC First Diploma in either, Agriculture, Countryside Management or Agricultural Engineering.
Students can study only some modules of the Introductory Diploma either full-time or part-time to gain an Introductory Certificate.
This is a practical course offering a taste of three aspects of land based industries, i.e. Agriculture, Countryside Management and Agricultural Engineering. You will be taught and assessed by completing practical tasks and work sheets. The course modules include, use of machinery, animal husbandry, estate skills, and environmental conservation. The students will be educated bilingually by enthusiastic and experienced tutors and can make use of the farm and engineering workshop’s excellent resources.
