NVQ Trowel Occupations - Bricklaying
You will learn skills to prepare you for working in the construction industry specialising in all aspects of trowel occupations. Depending on your ability and previous experience, you will begin with level 2 and work your way up to level 3. From the outset, you will gain work experience by working with an employer for 2 days a week, and then in the second and third year you will attend college for blocks of two or three weeks and then with your employer for 6 or 7 weeks. You will be continuously assessed at college and by evidence form the workplace. You can also combine an NVQ course with a compatible ICA or ACA and Key Skills to achieve a Modern Apprenticeships.
