BTEC National Award / Certificate in Engineering
This course is suitable if you are interested in engineering and enjoy using thinking processes and design skills to develop ideas and solve problems. You will study a combination of mechanical and electrical engineering. You can also study A level subjects with this course. In the past, some students have combined the course with subjects such as design and technology, science or electronics subjects. The certificate is equivalent to 2 A levels and the Award is equivalent to 1 A level. After completing the course, you could go on to study HND courses.
